About Me
Ross Mealey first started off with photography in 1989 while taking classes at Shenendehowa High in Clifton Park, NY. Over the years, Ross developed his love of photography and skills through a wide variety of interests, volunteer work, and professional experiences. Ross' work has been used in various publications, newsletters and websites. His specialties include Extreme Sport Photography, Wildlife Photography, Infrared Photography and Railroad Photography.


A couple of select examples of Ross’ photographic and promotional experiences include serving as the first national president of Organized Noise Car Club, and currently staff photographer for Berkshire Scenic Railroad Museum. Ross also recently co-founded an online photography forum to help foster education and growth among photographers of all skill levels in the Northeastern U.S., and often advises on technical questions and other photography issues.


Ross has an extensive background in communications equipment and information technology. By combining his passion for photography with his technical aptitude, Ross has developed a strong expertise in the technical aspects of photography, as well as a thorough familiarity with photographic equipment. His skills include strong working knowledge of Photographic Shooting Techniques; appropriate Equipment Usage and Capabilities (including manual, automatic and digital camera technology); Technical Guidance; and Trouble-Shooting Equipment Problems.
